Why he started the firm

The same pattern kept coming up, whatever the market. Money was committed to wellness before anyone had worked out what the facility needed to earn. Spas were planned around the renders, gyms around the equipment list, and the operator inherited the consequences. Daryn founded Luxe Wellness Spaces to put that order right: the commercial case comes first, and the design follows it.

How he works

Daryn leads every senior engagement personally, from early feasibility through to opening. He starts with the same few questions on every project: who is this for, what will it cost to run, and what does it need to return? He favours facilities that are sized to real demand and rooted in their setting (natural light, landscape and local practice) over ones that rely on equipment to impress.
